Counter-Strike Portable is a great port of the PC game, thanks to the guys over at
XDA you can now play on your Android, iphone, and web browser. For the uninitiated Counter-Strike is a multiplayer online first person shooter mod from the PC game Half-life. The game has been simplified a bit from the original but just enough to make it great for jumping in and killing a few terrorist anytime. The settings interface isn't as pretty as you may be used to but it does the job of selecting the server you want to join and changing your user name, with a few other settings. Once your in game you can move your buttons around to where ever works best for you, or you can play using a Wii Remote. The developers are working really hard on the game putting out an update every day or so, however that brings up one inconvenience with the game it is not available in the Android Market. They do have a website to download it from but the file comes from one of the sites that make you wait for the download and enter a captcha unless you pay the site. If there is interest I'll post the updates here to make it easy for everyone. If you have any questions leave a comment and I'll see if I can help.
