Grand Theft Auto 3 for Android Cheats GTA III hints, tips, and mods

There are 3 diferent versions of the game on the Google Play Market for different models and Android versions.  If one shows its incompatable with you phone or tablet one of the others should work for you.

Here is a list of Cheats for GTA 3 on Android, they are pretty much the same at they were on the PC with just a few Exceptions.  If you don't have a device with a keyboard you have a few options to be able to enter the codes, on some tables and phones you can plug in a usb keyboard, but you may need a usb host cable.  If your OS is before Honeycomb you should be able to long press on the menu button to get your keyboard to pop up.  Most devices should work with most any Bluetooth keyboard, or you can buy Gamekeyboard with it you can not only pull up a keyboard in game but you can also set up a virtual gamepad to use in game as well as set up micros so you only have to press one button to activate your cheat.

Counter-Strike Portable, the classic PC game that plays great on the Android!

Counter-Strike Portable is a great port of the PC game, thanks to the guys over at XDA you can now play on your Android, iphone, and web browser.  For the uninitiated Counter-Strike is a multiplayer online first person shooter mod from the PC game Half-life.  The game has been simplified a bit from the original but just enough to make it great for jumping in and killing a few terrorist anytime.  The settings interface isn't as pretty as you may be used to but it does the job of selecting the server you want to join and changing your user name, with a few other settings.  Once your in game you can move your buttons around to where ever works best for you, or you can play using a Wii Remote.  The developers are working really hard on the game putting out an update every day or so, however that brings up one inconvenience with the game it is not available in the Android Market.  They do have a website to download it from but the file comes from one of the sites that make you wait for the download and enter a captcha unless you pay the site.  If there is interest I'll post the updates here to make it easy for everyone.  If you have any questions leave a comment and I'll see if I can help.

SlideIT Keyboard, the faster way to type.

SlideIT keyboard really is the faster way to type on your touchscreen.  It takes a little getting used to at first, but in no time you'll be sliding words almost as fast as you would type on your PC's full size keyboard.  The Auto correct works very well, most of the time getting the word you where going for right off the bat.  There are many skins to choose from in the market to suit your tastes, as well as the ability to change the size of the keyboard with just a long press on the double arrows in the top left corner and then slide it to the height you want.  You can scan your contacts to add names, streets, and email addresses to your dictionary along with pressing the + in the auto correct bar for adding random words on the fly.  There are four pages of symbols as well as a page of emoticons.  Top it off with a button for voice input and the ability to turn off the slide feature at any time and you have everything I can ask for in a keyboard. 
This week in the market it is on sale .99!  normally 5.99. There was a free 15 day trial in the market (SlideIT soft keyboard) but it looks like they have removed it during the sale.
